Planning to bring a campervan or caravan to Electric Picnic 2024? Here’s what you need to know:
- Campsite Opening Time: The General Campervan & Caravan campsite opens at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 14th. Arrive early to avoid traffic and secure your spot smoothly.
- Family Campervan Area: This area opens at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 15th.
- Access Information: No access to the event site until Thursday, August 15th. General campsites open at 4:00 PM, with the Arena opening at 6:00 PM for Thursday entertainment.
- New Location: The General Campervan & Caravan Campsite is now located off the N80. Event routing and a detailed campsite map will be provided in the coming weeks.

Camping Electric Picnic Tips and Tricks for Campers
Sure, our modern fleet has more than enough space for numerous people and their stuff. Still, if you’re camping Electric Picnic-style with a camper, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be smart about it!
Here’s some advice from a seasoned camper and festival geek:
- Pack several thick changes of clothes as it gets cold in the evening and freezing at night.
- Bring a warm fleece or a hoodie.
- Pack a waterproof rain jacket, you’re in Ireland after all!
- Pack a warm jacket or coat for the evening, as well as a beanie.
- Pack several pairs of mid-calf or over-the-calf socks, in case one pair gets wet.
- Bring comfy shoes: ankle boots or sneakers are a must, this one should be obvious but you’d be surprised.
- Bring one empty reusable bottle of any size per person.
- Do not forget about refuse bags for rubbish, wet clothes, etc.

Electric Picnic Campervan Rental Prices
We have bespoke Campervan packages available for all types of festival groups.
Campervans are available for rent from Thursday to Monday for Electric Picnic.
Normally, you would need a campervan pass to camp at the festival, but those passes are sold out. However, if you rent a campervan from us, we include a campervan pass with your rental. This means you can still camp at the festival even though the passes are sold out!
Just remember, you will still need to buy a separate ticket to get into the festival itself.
2-berth camper – €220 per night
4-berth camper – €250 per night
6-berth camper – €270 per night
