If you are arriving into Dublin or heading out from the south side of the city, our Greystones depot puts the whole of Ireland within easy reach without the hassle of driving across Dublin first.

We are at Knight Park, Charlesland, Greystones, Co. Wicklow (postcode A63 WW87), seven or eight minutes from the M11, and 45 minutes from Dublin Airport on a clear run. You can leave your car in our secure depot while you are away. For visitors flying into Dublin, or for anyone living in south Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford or Waterford, Greystones is simply the more practical starting point.

Christopher and the team here will take you through everything you need before you head off. How the van works, route suggestions if you want them, and anything else that is on your mind. The handover is thorough but relaxed. One of our customers recently arrived at 8am on a return day so he could get back to work. Christopher was there to meet him. That is the kind of service we aim for.

Wicklow Mountains

Where you can go from Greystones

Greystones sits between Dublin and Wicklow, with the M11 practically on your doorstep. Head south and you are in Wexford within 90 minutes. Keep going and you are in Waterford and Kilkenny. Head west through the Midlands on the M50 and N4 and you are in Connemara by early afternoon if you leave before ten. Head north-west through the Midlands and you reach Roscommon, Mayo and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our customers have done all of these. One family went from Greystones to Connemara to Lough Ree to Westport in four days. The 4-berth was easy to drive, the kids loved it, and they were already looking at dates for next year before the van was back. Another customer drove from Greystones to Kerry in the A72 and described it as the best trip they had ever taken.

For short breaks, Glendalough is on your way out of Wicklow. The Wexford coast is close. North Wicklow is genuinely beautiful and almost entirely overlooked by visitors who go straight to the west. If you are based in the west or travelling from that side of the country, our campervan hire in Roscommon depot may be the more convenient place to collect.

The fleet at Greystones

Every vehicle we hire from Greystones is 2023 or newer, fully serviced and habitation-checked before it leaves. The same fleet is available here as in Roscommon: the V66 and V69 for couples, through the 4-berth Dethleffs and A68, up to the 6-berth models for families and groups. All automatics make driving on Irish roads (the narrow ones included) considerably less stressful.

Every hire includes full 24-hour breakdown cover across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK at no extra charge.

Picking up from Greystones

Two days before your hire begins, you will receive our online check-in email. By the time you arrive, most of the admin is already done. Christopher will take you through the van, answer any questions, and see you off. The whole process takes about 30 minutes.

If you need to drop your car here while you are away, that is no problem. Our yard is secure and customers do it regularly.

Security Deposit Options

We offer three deposit levels: €2,000, €1,000 and €500, with different excess amounts for each. You can choose the one that suits you when you book, and change it up to two days before pickup if you change your mind. Finnian will send you the details when you book.
